The search for something that worked
Sue had always been adventurous. She spent years in Australia working as a scuba diving instructor, sea kayaking guide and horse-riding manager. That part of her life made her feel alive, confident and connected.
Over time, that feeling started to fade. Her world felt smaller. Her motivation dropped. Her body did not feel as strong. She could still push herself, but she did not feel like herself.
The turning point came when she discovered Wim Hof and later trained in the Wim Hof Method. In a breathing session high in the Pyrenees, something shifted.
The breath, the mindset and the cold brought back a feeling she had been trying to find for years. It felt like coming back to life.
I know what it feels like to lose connection with yourself.
Human Reconnect came from my own need to find my way back to myself.
I did not come to this work because I wanted to be an instructor, stand at the front of a room, or tell people what to do. I came to it because I had been on my own journey for a long time, and I knew what it felt like when something inside you just does not feel right.
I had tried a lot by then. Yoga, breathwork, meditation, mindfulness, detox retreats, outdoor swimming, self-healing practices. I had worked in mental health for around 16 years and trained as a life coach, so I had a lot of tools in my bag.
But even with all of that, I still felt like something was missing.
Why Sue teaches
What made the method different for Sue was the way the three pillars worked together.
Breathwork helped her come back into her body. Mindset helped her stay steady. Cold exposure reminded her of the resilience she thought she had lost.
Now, Sue helps other people experience that same kind of reconnection in a safe and supportive way.
She works with people who are anxious, stressed, tired, disconnected, low in confidence, or looking for a practical way to feel stronger in themselves again.

A safe place to start
Sue knows that most people are nervous before they come.
They worry about doing the breathing wrong. They worry about the ice bath. They worry that everyone else will be stronger or more confident than them.
But most people are there for similar reasons: anxiety, poor sleep, stress, low confidence, feeling stuck, or wanting something to change.
Human Reconnect is not about being extreme. It is about creating a safe space where people can breathe, slow down, reconnect and remember what they are capable of.
Life does not have to feel this hard.
